These houses in downtown Stowe, Vermont were so pretty in the snow.
This house was so beautiful and so beautifully contrasted against the fresh snow. I love the colors. This was Thanksgiving morning in beautiful Stowe, Vermont.
You know how sometimes you have a picture in your head of somewhere and then you get there and it just doesn’t live up to your expectations? That was not the case at the Magic Hat Brewery in Burlington, Vermont. It was just as funky and out there as their beers are.
After lunch today, the snow really started coming down. This is a quick shot of the snow surrounding a clock from Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream in Waterbury, Vermont. It reminds me of the light post in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe!
The leaves are all down and the temperature is dropping. Winter has definitely arrived here in Toronto, Ontario.
I took this shot during the singing of the National Anthem at the Toronto Marlies game at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario. The Marlies couldn’t pull out a win, but it was a fun game nonetheless.
While it is much warmer than apparently last week was, it is still definitely winter here in Niagara Falls, New York. The crowds are all gone, and it’s nice to enjoy the beauty of The Falls again without distraction.
This isn’t the best shot, but it’s been a long day of driving and it’s hot in the news so I thought I’d post it anyway. Here I am in snowy Buffalo, New York, but thankfully on the right side of the city to have avoided the worst of it.
This is the water tower in downtown Wharton, New Jersey. I like industrial shots and the sky was nice and crisp today. It has been a busy but fairly relaxing week here in the office, but I am off tomorrow into the winter wonderland of upstate New York and Canada. Expect some snowy photos soon!
This is Broad Street Station in Newark, New Jersey. It is definitely a grey November morning and winter is coming. I like this shot because it looks like November.
I really enjoyed taking this photo. Dusk was just settling in on New York City, and this street vendor had such a warm glow to it. It was very welcoming on such a cold evening.
This woman was out braving the mid-November chill in Central Park in New York City. She was practicing her art while I was practicing mine.
It’s hard to believe that winter is just about here. I’m heading north from here next week and it looks like it’s going to be nice and chilly in Canada! These skaters were enjoying the late afternoon light on a Friday night in Central Park in New York City.
I just got back from a wonderful, relaxing and much needed weekend away from work in New York City. I visited Central Park just around dusk and caught these horse-drawn carriages coming around the bend. I love Central Park, and the city beyond it.
This is the amazing and powerful Burgess Falls. It is in Burgess Falls State Park near Sparta, Tennessee. We had a great day to see it and really enjoyed the trail down to the falls and the beautiful fall colors. I was actually there a few days ago, but just got around to pulling up these photos today.
This tree was so vibrant that I just tilted my camera skyward and took a few shots. The color came through well so I thought I’d give it its own post. This is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
It was such a beautiful day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The leaves were in their full fall colors and this was a great scene to capture outside of Independence Hall.
This is Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The statue is of Commodore John Barry. It was a warm and sunny day for mid-November.
It was a beautiful warm evening here in Washington D.C. and I enjoyed a nice stroll around the National Mall. This is the unmistakable Washington Monument standing proudly in the center of it all.
Today is Veterans Day here in the United States and I would like to thank all of our veterans and all of our brave men and women who have served in uniform. This photo is from the National World War II Memorial here in Washington D.C. I told you I’d return with my tripod (check it here).
