My Photographic Journey Around America

More Delta Blues

Some of the towns across the Mississippi Delta are truly striking in their emptiness. They can really give a feeling of being forgotten or left behind. Whole Main Streets are just shells of businesses that used to be. Like this one here.

    • Thanks Tina – it was a pretty depressed little town and I probably got a few sideways glances taking this photo, but I couldn’t pass it by…

I came here by way of West. This is an amazing shot and the kind of subject matter I love. Gotta go look at more of your work.

    • Thanks Emilio, I appreciate you stopping by. I love West’s photography and views on life. I try and catch a cross section of Americana wherever I am. I hope you’ll stop back often.

Well, from what I’m seeing, I’ll be back from time to time. My focus is mainly Americana, too, as there seems to be an abundance of such images here in Nevada.
