This is the main memorial at George Rogers Clark National Historic Park in Vincennes, Indiana. Built on the site of Fort Sackville, it is the largest memorial on any American battlefield. Before this visit, I had never heard of Clark or this campaign which brought the Northwest Territories under American rule in 1779. A fascinating place.

This is Orleans Square in Savannah, Georgia. The beautiful mansion in the background is the Harper Fowlkes house, one of the most beautiful in the city.
This is a statue of James Oglethorpe, the founder of Savannah, Georgia. It sits in beautiful Chippewa Square. The statue was a collaboration between Henry Bacon and Daniel Chester French, the same people who created the Lincoln Memorial.
It was so nice to be back in Savannah, Georgia. Not the best day to take photos, but it is such a beautiful city that the I ignored the overcast sky and took a bunch anyway.
