I enjoyed seeing some of the new displays – especially the jumpsuits – in the newly remodeled museums at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
I have visited Po’ Monkey’s many times and always enjoyed spending a few minutes with the man himself – Willie ‘Po’ Monkey’ Seaberry. I hadn’t been since Willie passed last year, but I was glad to find the place still standing. I hope you’re resting easy Mr. Seaberry.
I always love visiting Dockery Farms near Cleveland, Mississippi – the Birthplace of the Blues. And on a clear summer day, I love it even more.
The America is a new 185 guest cruise ship cruising the Mississippi River. I caught it docked near Gonzales, Louisiana.
Wow it’s been a crazy few weeks – working too hard with very little internet. But I’ve been in some cool and beautiful places and hope to catch up on some editing and blogging over the next few weeks.
