Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum

I’ve actually posted a picture of this place before out in Weston, West Virginia. I think it is such a beautiful building but just the name gives me the creeps. Knowing it was still in use in 1995 makes it worse. I still haven’t been there when it was open, but I liked this picture in the snow and with clear skies.

The Greenbrier

This is the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. It is a beautiful place and was also home to a secret underground bunker for the United States Congress until 1992. You can hear the full story on my podcast HERE.

Glade Creek Grist Mill

This is the Glade Creek Grist Mill in Babcock State Park in West Virginia. I have been alluding to my new project for some time. It has finally begun.
