R.I.P. Po’ Monkey

I have visited Po’ Monkey’s many times and always enjoyed spending a few minutes with the man himself – Willie ‘Po’ Monkey’ Seaberry. I hadn’t been since Willie passed last year, but I was glad to find the place still standing. I hope you’re resting easy Mr. Seaberry.

This is Houmas House in Louisiana, an old sugar plantation now open for tours.

This is a beautiful but dilapidated building at the old Fort DuPont, now a state park, in Delaware City, Delaware. I do love some old buildings and was glad that someone was actually restoring this one.
