Wishing everyone a very happy Easter. This is an old photo but I love the flowers and colors and it seemed somehow appropriate. It is in Glacier National Park.
This is the 1000th photo I’ve published on American Photo Blog! Thanks so much for being here! I’m choosing one from the most amazing evening at Grand Canyon. Right after a storm, with clouds resting in the valleys it was quite a sight to see.
This is sunrise at Mitten View in Monument Valley. It was one of the coolest mornings I’ve spent there and I’ve spent a lot of them.
This is a side street in Skagway, Alaska. I love the colorful buildings.
This is in Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska.
This is first light at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. I like this shot because the people on the left side give some perspective on the size of Bryce. One of my favorite parks, for sure.
With legalized marijuana in Colorado comes a newly legitimized and highly profitable industry. I’m not weighing in on the issue, but it did leave me with this colorful shot with the beautiful mountains in the background. This was somewhere in southeastern Colorado.
A beautiful house on a beautiful night in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
Every once in a while I see a sign that just has to be photographed. Nothing else, just the sign. This one is at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York.
Another spectacular sunset out here near Grand Canyon in Arizona.
This is the ever beautiful Antelope Canyon slot canyon near Page, Arizona. Incredible.
This is the view of The Mittens in Monument Valley, Arizona right before sunset. Always breathtaking.
This is the American and Bridal Veil Falls at night from Niagara Falls, Ontario.
I found this beautiful street art in the lovely town of Newnan, Georgia. I really just liked the colors!
The clouds were amazing today at Grand Canyon in Arizona. This is long after the sun set, and well worth waiting for.
This is a gorgeous Wurlitzer 1015 One More Time vinyl jukebox. While it is a reproduction of the original 1946 “bubbler”, it is still a beautiful machine. I really love these old style jukeboxes. I found this one inside the Gibson Guitar Factory in Memphis, Tennessee.
This is the amazing and powerful Burgess Falls. It is in Burgess Falls State Park near Sparta, Tennessee. We had a great day to see it and really enjoyed the trail down to the falls and the beautiful fall colors. I was actually there a few days ago, but just got around to pulling up these photos today.
