Glade Creek Grist Mill

This is the Glade Creek Grist Mill in Babcock State Park in West Virginia. I have been alluding to my new project for some time. It has finally begun. I am embarking on a multi-year journey around the United States to (surprise!) take photos. In addition, I will be writing, podcasting, blogging and hopefully incorporate some video at some point. I would love it if you all came along for the ride. I will still be posting some of my highlights here, but hop on over to http://www.miles2gobeforeisleep.com to find out more.

Pink’s

Pink’s is one of the most iconic hot-dog restaurants in the country, and certainly the most famous west of the Mississippi. Founded by Paul and Betty Pink in Hollywood, California in 1939, I have never been here when there wasn’t a line. It is definitely worth the stop.
