This was in the yard of a house in Montour Falls, New York.
This is in beautiful downtown McCarthy, Alaska. It really is a special place full of history.
This is the lifeguard truck in Hermosa Beach, California about 20 minutes before sunset. The colors were great, but about to get so much better (I’m not big on cliffhangers, but the rest of the week is going to be good!).
This is from the Wonderful World of Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta, Georgia. This truck was brought up to the museum from Argentina and it really was pretty.
Alexander Michael’s or Al Mike’s is a charming neighborhood pub sitting in the middle of the historic 4th Ward in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was a pleasant place to stop for a quick beer and get in out of the cold. I like the decorations on the truck.
The Hopson Plantation just outside Clarksdale, Mississippi was the first plantation to completely mechanize cotton production. Once the home of delta blues legend Joe “Pinetop” Perkins, today it sits in a state of arrested decay. Music can still be found in the commissary on certain nights, and the rooms are up for rent. Definitely a cool stop along the Blues Trail.
