Hey everyone. Sorry for my extended absence. I had to get a new computer and have been trying to figure it out. Then I got back on the road and had a really busy few weeks. But now I’m back on the road and ready to start back on this project. Here is a great shot of the U.S. Capitol from my home in Washington D.C.
I can’t help it – the dome looks so good. This is a different angle from last week and a closer look at the U.S. Capitol dome here in Washington D.C.
This is the Washington Monument here in Washington D.C.
This is the statue at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial here in Washington D.C.
The Capitol Building looks so nice now that the scaffolding is down. The multi-year repair of the dome is done, and it looks spectacular. Obviously in Washington D.C.
Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. I’ve been hanging out at home and working on other projects, but it was a beautiful night last night so I took advantage. This is a shot of the Jefferson Memorial, right here in Washington, D.C.
It was a beautiful warm evening here in Washington D.C. and I enjoyed a nice stroll around the National Mall. This is the unmistakable Washington Monument standing proudly in the center of it all.
Today is Veterans Day here in the United States and I would like to thank all of our veterans and all of our brave men and women who have served in uniform. This photo is from the National World War II Memorial here in Washington D.C. I told you I’d return with my tripod (check it here).
The annual blooming of the cherry blossoms along the tidal basin in Washington D.C. is a beautiful time to visit the city. This is a photo of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial with cherry blossoms in full bloom.
